Objects built at human scale.
Studio Luser is the independent jewelry and object practice of Aaron Lu, based in Pleasanton, California.
Practice
The studio is a place for exploring how metal, mechanisms, and wearable forms can become useful, personal objects. Jewelry is approached as both an intimate object and a small piece of engineering.
Approach
Projects develop through drawing, model-making, material tests, and close attention to the points where an object moves, closes, or meets the body.
Current work
The current work is exploratory. The studio welcomes commissions, conversations with stockists, and collaborations with other makers and designers.
